uhh..Gandalf..the.. <really> shiny?

Gahaha YESSS after a 2nd attempt at Satoshi Kamiya’s Wizard, I managed to pull through!

Yea but the work part was hard though, I’ve got no idea how long I’ve spent on this model, all i know was that it took me 2 days, a forum consult, some really crease-holding paper and some glue.

Yup i cheated =D but just as other folders had problem with the right hand griping on to the staff, they decided to just glue the hand and the staff together and so did I.Well I did modify certain areas of the model:I twisted the  and curled the staff, opened each of the shoulder pleats to create a proper looking sleeve, crimped the hat a little more so that it actually looks like a hat, unlike several other models I’ve seen where they left it looking like a half-hood or sumth.I also made the robe more stretched out,as for the hands I did have problem with them but anyways I simply wet folded them again, although the quality of the paper made my life difficult.

I dont know what type of paper I used, I visited the nearby stationary and was paper hunting until I found this Silver aluminum-sort paper that could hold creases well.Bad colour choice though. It made the model really gleam, and because of the the details cant be seen really clear even though I took the pictures in a shaded spotwizardcp

Here’s the crease pattern of the wizard, the RM 10 note is a reference to the size of the paper.

suddenly I feel like buying orange paper to crimp into flames or sumth.Wakaka compared to the one folded on David’s blog,I crimped the beard xD + more detailed version
